There are 63 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its exceptional off-road capability, powerful engine, and high-end interior features, and many also like the infotainment system and rear entertainment options. If you want a luxury SUV that feels special and is suited to both premium commuting and tougher terrain, the 2017 Range Rover fits that use case well. With 36.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to shoppers who value capability, with praise for its trouble-free appeal in daily use and its ability to handle demanding conditions. That said, the broader ownership picture still calls for caution, especially if you plan to keep it long term and want to avoid expensive surprises outside the warranty period.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 63 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,912 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $34,912 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,721 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned than someone who pays near the top of the range. Even so, the softer pricing trend means you should expect resale to depend heavily on how carefully the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better pick if you want the updated equipment, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that has already softened enough to create some buying opportunities. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2017 remains the more compelling choice when you want the newer-feeling package and are willing to shop selectively.
