How much does the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 18.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 136 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth drive, attractive interior, performance, and off-road capability. That lines up well if you want a luxury SUV that feels special on the road and still has genuine all-terrain credibility. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a luxurious feel, smooth driving manners, and an attractive interior, while also pointing to concerns about reliability and fuel efficiency. That mix suggests the vehicle can be rewarding to own, but you should be selective about condition, maintenance history, and how the SUV was used. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is higher than average, so a careful inspection and service-record review matter a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and compare examples carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 136 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.82% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,181 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $26,181 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,251 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be good news if you're buying now but less favourable if you're thinking about future resale. If you own one for a few years, the softer pricing trend may limit how much value it holds compared with some rivals. Still, a well-kept example with strong service records should remain easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2017 is the year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and prioritise the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
