How much does the 2017 Honda Odyssey cost?

There are 182 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its reliable performance, safety features, and spacious interior, and many also like its comfortable ride and versatility. For you, that makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical family minivan with a safety-first focus and everyday usability. With 24.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The feedback points to reliable performance and a dependable ownership experience, with drivers especially appreciating how well it serves family duties over time. That said, some owners mention cosmetic wear and tear, so you should still inspect condition closely and review maintenance records before buying.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a neglected example, so a thorough inspection matters more than chasing the lowest asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 182 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.61% compared with last year.
• If you find a listing below $18,585 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $18,741 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,025 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the softer current pricing means your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should still attract family buyers because this model year remains appealing for practicality and safety.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Buy the 2017 if you want a well-equipped, family-focused minivan and you find one with a clean history at a sensible price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 remains a strong choice when condition and maintenance records line up.
