Used 2017 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearRichmond, BC

How much does the 2017 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 22.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 173 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its reliable performance, safety features, and spacious interior, while the comfortable ride and versatility make it a strong fit if you want a practical family minivan. For Canadian buyers, the well-equipped cabin and family-friendly layout make it especially appealing if you value everyday convenience over flashier tech. With 23.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights reliable performance and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, which is encouraging if you want a minivan you can count on. That said, some owners mention cosmetic wear and tear, and the model’s early-generation complaints around electrical glitches, infotainment issues, and transmission problems mean a careful inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a vehicle with incomplete maintenance history or unresolved mechanical concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,541 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $18,541 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,776 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be good news if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one, the softer pricing means your resale value may not be as strong as it was a year ago, especially if your vehicle has higher mileage or visible wear. On the other hand, a well-kept example with strong service records should still appeal to family buyers looking for a practical minivan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Honda Odyssey makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped, family-focused minivan and you can take advantage of the softer pricing in today’s market. If you’re price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar value, but the 2017 remains a strong primary target when condition and maintenance history are good.
