This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.96% compared with last year.

What is the 2017 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $11,625 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,707 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the vehicle is especially well kept or unusually well equipped. The good news is that the Fusion still has broad appeal thanks to its comfort, space, and feature set, which can help support demand when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Ford Fusion is a strong pick if you want a midsize sedan with a modern-feeling cabin, good space, and broad appeal at a more approachable price point. If you want the best value, this year makes sense as a primary target; if you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar equipment and condition.
