What is the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $12,503 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,538 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the van easier to buy now but also means future resale gains may be limited. If you plan to sell later, the current softness implies you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment and clean history should hold up better than average in a value-driven segment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a sensible choice if you want the Grand Caravan’s practical packaging, strong value, and broad used-market availability. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby older year may cost less, but the 2017 gives you a good balance of price, owner approval, and shopping selection.
