For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core car and more about making sure the electronics and infotainment work as expected.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 55 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.14% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $16,127 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $17,887 CAD sits slightly above last year's $17,512 CAD.

That price movement suggests the 2017 Chrysler 300 has held its value reasonably well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A modest year-over-year increase can indicate steady demand rather than a sharp swing in either direction. Because the model has strong owner satisfaction and a clear comfort-and-value appeal, it should remain attractive to buyers looking for a roomy full-sized sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.14% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a full-sized sedan with a roomy cabin, strong comfort, and a more upscale feel, the 2017 Chrysler 300 is the better fit. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 stands out as a balanced choice when you want value, equipment, and owner satisfaction in one package.
