Is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Even with some mentions of tire noise and a few missing features, the driving experience appears to be the main draw. Is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with, especially because the performance and driving experience are described so positively. The recurring praise for power, handling, and overall enjoyment suggests a model that owners feel confident recommending. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can be a helpful sign that long-term ownership risk is more manageable, provided the specific car has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 18.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $79,558 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $81,907 CAD sits slightly below last year's $83,871 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more approachable for buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices continue to soften. On the other hand, a model with strong enthusiast appeal can still hold attention well when it is clean, well-kept, and priced realistically. If you buy carefully now, you may be able to protect more of your value later by choosing a car that is already near the lower end of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 18.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory, the 2017 is a sensible year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, it also makes sense to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and asking price for the money.
