Is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, eye-catching design, power, and handling, and many describe it as a thrilling ride. The main trade-offs mentioned are tire noise and a few missing features, but the driving experience appears to outweigh those concerns for most shoppers. Is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers feel they can count on, with praise centred on a dependable-feeling driving experience and strong overall ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a performance car can be more sensitive to how it was driven and maintained, so service history matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 15.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 63 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $79,516 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $80,547 CAD sits slightly below last year's $84,095 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests future sellers may need to be realistic if they want to move the car quickly. If the market stays near today's level, resale value should remain supported by buyer interest, but not necessarily by rapid appreciation. Strong owner satisfaction can help keep demand steady when it's time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 15.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current market value, the 2017 is a solid year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the year alone.
