How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 91 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.73/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners commonly praise its reliability, performance, and value, and many also like its smooth ride and versatility as a work truck. In practical terms, that fits well if you want a midsize pickup that can handle daily driving while still offering useful capability and comfort. The market also shows 28.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile options to consider.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, and many drivers describe the truck as dependable and a good value over time. That said, some shoppers note concerns about the diesel option's maintenance costs, so you should pay close attention to service history if you're considering one of those trucks. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific truck you choose has been maintained carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 91 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,713 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $20,725 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,399 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer pricing environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval and a market that currently favours shoppers, the 2017 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby years to see whether a similar truck offers a better asking price or a better-equipped listing for the money.
