Is the 2017 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Buick Enclave earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfortable and spacious ride, along with smooth handling and quiet performance.

That lines up well with its family-focused three-row layout and upscale-leaning cabin, especially if you want a practical SUV that still feels polished. For shoppers who value comfort and space over a sportier personality, it fits that use case well.

With 21.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful share of attractive inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers highlighting how well it serves as a family vehicle over time. The quiet cabin and smooth, comfortable driving character also suggest a model that owners feel confident living with day to day.

For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction is encouraging, but you should still treat any older SUV as a vehicle where maintenance history matters for long-term ownership risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 21.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 52 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,752 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $17,581 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,469 CAD.

That tells you the market has eased, which can be a mixed signal if you're planning to sell later. On one hand, softer pricing can make it easier for you to buy in now. On the other hand, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect a more competitive used market rather than a rising one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 21.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of comfort, space, and current market value, the 2017 is the year to focus on. If your priority is simply stretching your budget as far as possible, a lower-priced nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2017 stands out as the stronger all-around pick for shoppers who want a well-liked, family-friendly SUV.
