Owners consistently praise the luxurious interior, smooth ride, and advanced technology, and many also like its performance and handling in different drive modes. It also fits well if you want a refined three-row luxury SUV with comfortable front and second-row seating, plus useful cargo flexibility for family duty. With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights the Q7 as luxurious, smooth, and generally well-liked over time, with many owners describing it as a vehicle they enjoy living with day to day. The recurring praise for its comfort, performance, and technology suggests a model that many buyers feel confident keeping for the long haul, even if some mention fuel consumption and infotainment quirks.

For used buyers, that combination suggests manageable long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-maintained example and pay attention to the features and equipment on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 144 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,226 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $19,226 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,909 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market continues to favour shoppers, resale values could stay under pressure unless a specific example is especially well equipped or exceptionally clean. Strong demand for a luxury SUV with three-row practicality can still help support value, but the current trend favours buyers more than sellers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Q7 makes sense if you want a well-liked, three-row luxury SUV and you’re focused on value in today’s used market. If you’re price-sensitive, this year’s softer pricing and decent deal availability make it worth a close look; if you want the broadest shopping pool, you can also compare nearby years and choose the cleanest, best-priced example rather than locking onto this year alone.
