The current average of $15,008 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,870 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting further value loss. Demand should also be helped by the strong owner satisfaction score.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.47/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.47/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Audi A4 with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than a year ago, the 2017 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the lowest sticker price.
