Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,497 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $14,497 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,625 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more approachable for you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and service records than it would be in a stronger pricing environment. If you buy well and keep the car in good shape, you may be better positioned to recover value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

The bottom line: The 2017 Audi A4 makes sense if you want a well-liked luxury sedan with softer pricing and enough inventory to compare options. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on nearby model years as well, but the 2017 stands out as a balanced choice when value and owner satisfaction both matter.
