Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 136 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.34% compared with last year.

What is the 2017 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $15,590 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,092 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay grounded unless demand strengthens. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.47/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.47/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A4 with strong owner approval and a softer price than a year ago. If your priority is value, this model year deserves a close look; if you are especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you similar satisfaction for less money.
