Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,744 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $14,924 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,466 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-priced purchase today could leave you in a better position later. Condition, mileage, and service records will matter a lot when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A3 or consider a different year?
