Used 2017 Acura RDX for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2017 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 11.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 133 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spacious and luxurious feel, smooth ride, and robust power, while the comfort-focused setup makes it a good fit if you want a practical luxury crossover rather than something overtly sporty. The overview also supports that use case: it is aimed at buyers who value comfort, usability, and family-friendly space. With 22.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise for the smooth ride, robust power, and overall comfort that many drivers seem happy to live with over time. That kind of repeat satisfaction usually suggests a vehicle you can count on for everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core package and more about finding one that has been maintained well and still feels tight and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.56% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,833 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $17,833 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,163 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the RDX more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction and practical luxury appeal should help it remain broadly desirable. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should have a reasonable path to holding value better than a less sought-after used crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want a comfortable, well-liked luxury crossover with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2017 is the better all-around pick when you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and everyday usability.
