The user feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with owners repeatedly calling out its comfort, spaciousness, and overall value. The model’s reputation for reliability is reinforced by the way buyers describe it as a trouble-free family hauler that they can count on. Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,190 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $21,778 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,714 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become a bit softer, which can work against you if you plan to sell soon. At the same time, a lower entry price can help keep the vehicle attractive to future buyers who want a well-equipped family minivan without paying top dollar. If you maintain it well and keep it clean, the Sienna’s practical appeal should still support steady demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Sienna with strong owner approval, solid value, and the practical family-first packaging this nameplate is known for, the 2016 is a smart place to focus. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar space and comfort for less money.
