How much does the 2016 Toyota Sienna cost?

There are 74 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2016 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. You get a family-focused minivan that drivers praise for its comfort, spaciousness, and the variety of features it offers. It also fits well if you want a practical vehicle with a versatile cabin and plenty of room for passengers and cargo. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback and model overview both point to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners highlighting its reliability and practical day-to-day use. It is also described as a model year that sits in a sweet spot for reliability and value, which is encouraging if you want something you can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well, since any older minivan can become more expensive to own if upkeep has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.30% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,169 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $22,841 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,640 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can make the Sienna easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. A well-kept example should still appeal to family buyers who want space and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used minivan that leans hard into space, comfort, and family practicality, the 2016 Sienna is the year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar value, but the 2016 remains a strong primary choice for shoppers who prioritise satisfaction and versatility.
