Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mitsubishi RVR?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right price.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 61 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,185 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mitsubishi RVR's resale value?

The current average of $10,185 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,128 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays subdued. If you plan to sell later, buying at the lower end of the range gives you a better chance of protecting your value. A well-priced purchase today can make the eventual resale story more favourable.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mitsubishi RVR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better path if you want a used RVR with a meaningful price drop and enough inventory to shop carefully. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for listings near the low end of the range; if not, the 2016 offers a balanced mix of value and owner satisfaction.
