Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale near Alberta

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

There are 77 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner approval for this model year. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC stands out as a compact luxury SUV that replaced the GLK with a sleeker, more practical shape, and it was designed to deliver the kind of on-road comfort and refinement you expect from a premium crossover. It also offers improved rear-seat space and a larger cargo area than the GLK, which makes it a sensible choice if you want a five-seat luxury SUV with everyday usability. With 27.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market flexibility if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC was not known for a standout reliability reputation, and owners have reported suspension and electrical issues, along with some piston and cylinder problems on GLC 300 models. That means you should be especially careful about service history and any signs of expensive repairs before you commit to a used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a vehicle that has already started to show the kinds of issues that can become costly in a premium SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,195 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $18,212 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,240 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. The GLC's premium positioning and practical layout should help it remain appealing to shoppers looking for a compact luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should consider the 2016 if you want a stylish, practical compact luxury SUV and you find one with a clean history at a competitive price. If you are especially price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby model years for the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
