Is the 2016 Mazda CX-5 a good car?

Is the 2016 Mazda CX-5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise for its trouble-free feel, good fuel economy, and overall long-term value. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a neglected example rather than the model itself.

What is the 2016 Mazda CX-5's resale value?

The current average of $13,934 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,939 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the CX-5 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if the market stays this way. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your eventual return. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?
