Its reputation for long-term usefulness is reinforced by the way owners describe it as a vehicle they can count on for space, comfort, and practical commuting. That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. The Odyssey’s strong family appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value space and practicality over flash.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 24.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-liked, practical family minivan and you find a clean example at a sensible price, the 2016 is a strong choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, maintenance history, and asking price.
