What is the 2016 Honda Fit's resale value?

The current average of $14,693 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,052 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers have a bit more negotiating room today, but it can also mean future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays near this level, resale values should remain stable rather than sharply rising. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Honda Fit or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Honda Fit is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked used hatchback with strong owner feedback and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you’re price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you similar value.
