Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Honda Fit?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 80 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• If you find a listing below $13,141 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Honda Fit's resale value?

The current average of $14,975 CAD sits slightly above last year's $14,828 CAD.

That small increase suggests the market has remained stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to steady buyer interest instead of a weakening market. If the Fit continues to hold its reputation for value and practicality, that should support resale confidence.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Honda Fit or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Fit with strong owner satisfaction, stable pricing, and a healthy number of listings to compare, the 2016 is a sensible choice. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced option better fits your target.
