What is the 2016 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $12,084 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,035 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point. For a future seller, it also means there may be less upside if prices continue to normalise. If you plan to own it for a while, the current market gives you a lower entry cost, but resale gains are likely to depend more on condition and mileage than on broad price momentum.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.45/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.45/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Ford Edge makes sense if you want a well-liked SUV with a softer market price and enough listings to compare before you buy. If you are price-sensitive, the current market gives you a decent chance to find value, but you should focus on condition and deal quality rather than chasing the cheapest example alone.
