Is the 2016 Dodge Challenger reliable?

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience for many drivers, with the car’s strong performance and engine options helping it feel like something you can count on. • Inventory: There are 76 listings available.

What is the 2016 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $46,645 CAD sits slightly above last year's $45,735 CAD.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this model year, especially when the car presents well and has been cared for properly. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend is a positive sign because it shows steady buyer interest rather than a softening market. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones, especially given the Challenger’s strong enthusiast appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.76/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.99% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.76/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current market support, and the Challenger’s classic muscle-car appeal, the 2016 is a solid choice. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
