The owner feedback points to a truck that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free enough to keep recommending, especially for its value and overall usefulness. Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 54 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,797 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $19,308 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,316 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if values keep easing. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market appreciation. Well-kept examples should still hold interest because shoppers continue to value the Colorado’s balance of comfort and utility.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
