The current average of $13,204 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,611 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers have more leverage today, but it can also mean a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A4 with solid owner approval and a market that has eased enough to create some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one available.
