Used 2016 Acura RDX for Sale near Alberta
3.5 Overall rating
(6 reviews)Very comfortable, more than adequate power, a pleasure to drive, especially on the open road. No maintenance issues so far.
Great SUV, comfortable, sporty, reliable, efficient, good gas mileage.
Car was not a good value. Definitely missing some cleaning products but not short on little tree air fresheners
Took a while to locate a late model one that had all the electronic safety features. Adaptive Cruise Control, lane keeping assist, cross traffic’ alert, etc. They should all be standard and perhaps on new models they are. It’s a great car and we’ll prices.
Purchased a lightly used 2016 RDX Advanced vehicle in fathom blue in 2018. By 2022, the pint was peeling off the car. Honda and Acura know they have a problem with their paint, but if your VIN # isn’t on a specific recall notice, they will not help you at all. My car had 60k miles on it when I noticed the peeling- and my car had been garaged and babied and professionally detailed over the years (no abuse). Acura dealership acknowledged it was a “paint defect”, but Honda and Acura refuse to do the right thing and take responsibility. The car itself was fine and hadn’t let me down, but the transmission was a bit funky and honestly seemed like it was slipping (though it did this from about 20k miles on, so it could just be the way the transmission was supposed to be? Random revving and inconsistent rpm’s). Honestly, Honda/Acura customer service was the absolute worst, trying to blame the paint defect on the fact that it was purchased used, and took over two months to decide to tell me they wouldn’t step up and fix the problem. If you decide to buy an RDX, I would avoid all colors that Honda has been having difficulty with (white, blue, space grey)) and pay particular attention to the areas near the pillars, roof, mirrors, and the seam where the hatch opening meets the roof. I’ve owned vehicles significantly older than my RDX and never had any problems with paint peeling before. Acura is an inferior product for a premium price. Will not buy another Honda or Acura again.
