How much does the 2015 Mazda CX-5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 226 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of choice when comparing condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2015 Mazda CX-5 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Mazda CX-5 earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its good looks, comfort, handling, and fuel economy, and many compare it favourably with other SUVs for everyday driving. That makes it a strong fit if you want a compact SUV that feels more polished and enjoyable on the road. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Mazda CX-5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise for comfort, handling, and fuel economy supporting that impression. At the same time, the model’s reputation is not spotless, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition before committing. For long-term ownership, that means the biggest risk is buying a neglected example rather than the model itself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mazda CX-5?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you focus on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 226 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,034 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mazda CX-5's resale value?

The current average of $12,034 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,138 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can be helpful if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one for the long term, the softer pricing may limit short-term resale gains, especially if your vehicle has higher mileage or visible wear. On the other hand, a well-kept example with desirable equipment should still appeal to shoppers looking for a stylish compact SUV at a reasonable price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 CX-5 is a smart choice if you want a stylish, enjoyable compact SUV and you can find one that has been well maintained. If you are price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make this a good year to target, but you should still compare condition carefully against nearby model years before deciding.
