That softer pricing can be a plus if you're buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited unless the market tightens. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service history. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it's time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a smart choice if you want a well-liked, family-focused minivan and you value a softer used-car price than last year. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price or a better-equipped example gives you more value for your budget.
