Should I buy a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.18/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a sensible choice if you want a full-size pickup with a more upscale feel, strong performance, and enough inventory to compare options carefully. If you’re price-sensitive, the softer market makes this year worth a close look, but you should still prioritise condition and maintenance history over the lowest sticker price. If you want the best balance of value and selection, the 2015 is a good primary target; if you’re hunting for the cheapest entry point, compare it against nearby years and focus on the cleanest truck you can find.
