This is my third Dodge Journey I have owned. I have had a great experience driving a Journey over the years and I can't complain. It offers good handling, smooth driving on the highway, never any problem keeping up with or passing traffic. I am not getting as good mileage as I did on my previous Journey. I am hoping as it gets built in, the gasoline might go a little further. The vehicle has lots of storage space but I got this one with a back seat which requires it be put down to make for more storage room in the back..No big problem. I stayed with the V6 engine as I have had good luck with it previously. Although the 4 cylinder has the same HP as I had in my old 2000 Dodge Caravan, the Journey weighs in a bit more and I figure it needs the larger engine. Also I tow a small RV and the extra power is nice.

The 2015 Journey has all the right options. The storage room is great with the bins behind the front seats and the compartment under the cushion of the passenger seat. The heated steering wheel and heated seats are wonderful especially when combined with the remote start. Overall a great vehicle for the money with loads of great options.

How much does the 2015 Dodge Journey cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $8,344 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $8,032 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $9,471 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $9,418 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −11.40% |
Prices have softened 11.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 202 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2015 Dodge Journey a good car?
Yes — owners rate it 4.5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Reviewers commonly praise its value for money, spaciousness, comfort features like heated seats, smooth driving experience, and ample storage options. The market also shows 10.4% of listings as good or great deals, which can help you find a competitive price if you shop carefully.
Is the 2015 Dodge Journey reliable?
Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review feedback suggests many owners find it dependable enough for everyday use, with positive comments about smooth driving and comfort over time. At the same time, some shoppers should pay close attention to engine reliability concerns when evaluating a used example.
For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you choose carefully and verify maintenance history.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Journey?
It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.
- Deal availability: 10.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 202 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.40% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $8,032 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Dodge Journey's resale value?
The current average of $8,344 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,418 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests future sellers may need to stay competitive if they want to move the vehicle quickly. If market conditions remain similar, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 10.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.40% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a used SUV with strong owner satisfaction, useful space, and a softer price trend, the 2015 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep comparing listings closely and focus on the best-maintained examples, since the market still rewards careful shopping.
