What is the 2014 Toyota Tacoma's resale value?

The current average of $21,622 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,109 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. Even so, the Tacoma’s reputation for reliability and strong owner satisfaction helps support demand. If you keep the truck in good condition and maintain it properly, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Tacoma or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 19.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a Tacoma with strong owner approval and a softer price trend, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
