I love the features of the car. I think that the car is at a good value. The car is missing a backup camera. That's about it. I would compare the car to a station wagon but bigger.

Good car for local everyday shopping & running errands. Too small for long distance travel.

Good features but lacking in acceleration. A good city car but if you need to get on to the freeway it was a little lackluster on pick-up for me. If the price had been a bit lower I may have gotten it. Also, I couldnt find the spare tire. There were tools but where is the tire?

| Year-Round High | $8,189 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $7,706 CAD |

Is the 2014 Nissan Versa Note a good car?
Generally — the 2014 Nissan Versa Note earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its fuel efficiency, comfort, and affordability, especially for daily commuting. The main trade-offs are its lack of power and limited cargo space on longer trips. With 20.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to find a competitively priced example.
Is the 2014 Nissan Versa Note reliable?
Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a car that many people find dependable for everyday use, with strong mentions of fuel efficiency and comfort. That said, used buyers should still watch for signs of wear tied to age and mileage, since long-term ownership risk rises when maintenance history is unclear.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Versa Note?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 2.75% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $6,776 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2014 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?
The current average of $7,494 CAD sits slightly below last year's $7,706 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the car is especially clean and well maintained. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside risk later because the model is already trading in a relatively accessible range. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it comes time to sell.
Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2014 if:
- 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 2.75% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a budget-friendly used hatchback with strong owner satisfaction and you can live with modest performance, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on the lower end of the market and compare a few listings closely before committing.
