Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.30% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $7,445 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $7,568 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,997 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold its value better than a neglected one. Strong condition and clean history matter more when the market is already pricing in a decline.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and buyer confidence, the 2016 is the year to focus on, especially if you can find a well-priced example in the lower end of the market. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, keep a close eye on listings near the year-round low and compare them carefully against other nearby model years.
