Is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.85/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. You get a compact car that many drivers like for its engaging performance, stylish interior, great handling, fuel efficiency, and comfortable ride. That fits especially well if you want a small car with more personality than many rivals, while still keeping pricing within reach. With 25.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many people find dependable and enjoyable to live with over time, especially when it comes to its driving feel and efficiency. At the same time, some owners mention maintenance costs as a concern, so you should pay close attention to service history and overall condition. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but only if the car has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 196 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $8,876 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $9,309 CAD sits slightly below last year's $10,571 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you own one, the softer pricing means you should expect resale values to stay competitive rather than surge. The good news is that strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a compact car with a stylish cabin, engaging road manners, and a price that has moved lower, the 2014 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar car offers a better deal at the moment, but the 2014 already looks attractive for shoppers who value personality and strong owner approval.
