Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.97% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,772 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport's resale value?

The current average of $9,772 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,628 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy near the current average, you may have less room for appreciation later, so condition and mileage will matter more when it comes time to resell. For a seller, a clean history and strong maintenance records should help support value in a market that has already softened.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.97% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a sensible choice if you want a used Santa Fe Sport with a softer price point and enough listings to compare carefully. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for the better-priced examples and move quickly when you find one that sits below the current average.
