Used 2014 Honda CR-V for Sale nearOshawa, ON

How much does the 2014 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 3.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 235 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2014 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 4.68/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, spacious interior, and good fuel economy, and many also appreciate the available AWD and backup camera features. For you, that makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical compact crossover for everyday use rather than something flashy or especially engaging to drive. With 27.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.68/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, and it also describes the CR-V as a vehicle many people can count on for everyday use. That said, some owners mention transmission maintenance concerns, so a careful service-history check matters on the used market.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently enough to avoid expensive drivetrain issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Honda CR-V?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 235 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,604 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $13,624 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,109 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can work against a seller trying to maximise return in the short term. Even so, the CR-V’s practical reputation and broad appeal help support steady demand. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should still have a solid audience when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.68/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.68/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $14,759 CAD, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $13,624 CAD average.
• It brings a refined version of the CR-V formula with more changes for 2015.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2014 if you want the better value and a proven, practical compact SUV. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer model-year updates, the 2015 is the better secondary path.
