Car is great with luxury features, and it has great value. Ford Edge Sport is missing nothing: power, leather seats, AWD, and an amazing look.

Amazing car , great if you have kids but not looking for a third row. Spacious on the inside, a lot of trunk space. My son loves the full sun roof definitely keeps him entertained all day with the sky. Only thing I dont like is it doesn’t have the digital speed but it has digital navigation where I feel the MPHs should be. Other than that car is good on gas , drives smooth, and again very spacious.

Is the 2014 Ford Edge a good car?
Yes — the 2014 Ford Edge earns a 4.57/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its spacious interior, ample trunk space, and smooth driving, while also noting its luxury features. The market also shows 15.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2014 Ford Edge reliable?
Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
Owners also describe it as reliable and safe, with feedback that suggests it can be a dependable choice for family use and everyday driving. For used buyers, that kind of owner confidence lowers the sense of long-term ownership risk, especially if the specific vehicle has been well maintained.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Ford Edge?
This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and some room to find value.
- Deal availability: 15.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 124 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.58% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $8,417 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2014 Ford Edge's resale value?
The current average of $9,179 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,273 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the softer pricing trend means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2014 Ford Edge or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2014 if:
- 15.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.58% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2014 Ford Edge makes sense if you want a well-liked used SUV with solid owner feedback and some pricing leverage in the current market. If your priority is stretching your budget, this year is worth a close look; if you want the newest possible version, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the lowest sticker price.
