Is the 2014 Audi A4 a good car?

Is the 2014 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many people find dependable enough to enjoy for the long haul, especially when it comes to comfort and everyday drivability. At the same time, some reviewers mention CVT transmission issues during cold starts, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the car behaves on a cold test drive. That makes a careful inspection especially important if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop around without rushing.

• Deal availability: 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,152 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $10,157 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,442 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can put some pressure on future resale expectations if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you buy at a more attractive point in the cycle, which may soften the impact of depreciation over your ownership period. If demand stays steady, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than cars with unclear history or deferred maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Audi A4 with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than a year ago, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. It makes the most sense if you value comfort, performance, and a better chance of finding a deal. If you're especially price-sensitive, focus on the listings at the low end of the range and compare condition carefully before committing.
