The current average of $10,019 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,718 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers currently have more leverage than sellers. If you plan to sell later, the recent decline means you may need to price competitively to stand out. On the other hand, a lower entry price today can help you preserve more value if the market steadies over your ownership period.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used luxury sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than a year ago, the 2014 Audi A4 is worth serious consideration. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, focus on the best-priced listings and compare them closely against nearby model years before you buy.
