I purchased my 08 Shelby Torch Red Mustang in 2022. It had 16,000 miles on it at the time of purchase and it had modifications that made it a king of the road. If you want a car that easily spins the tires at just touching the throttle, then this is the car for you. It is easily the most powerful mustang I have owned, and I have owned 6 in the past. It produces 550 rear wheel HP and its a beast. Mine has Flowmaster Chrome Tip mufflers installed on it and they sound great. It also has a cold air intake with a Ford Racing Tune. There is nothing to complain about with its performance other than for some reason these mustangs have wheel hop from the wheels trying their best not to spin but with this much power they have to, and it causes the rearend to get cocked a bit and then the wheels start hopping. If you know how to drive one of these and you aint trying to spin the tires it is not a problem. It can be driven everyday if I wanted to, but I dont. It has ac, power windows, locks, power seats, navigation system and a great stereo sound system. There is nothing to complain about with this car. The ride is a little rough but that is to be expected with all the high-end performance suspension parts and it has a 6-speed trans. I love driving mine anytime I can.

Over the years I have owned five Mustangs. Prior to the Shelby they were all SVT Cobra’s. As the years went by each car got better and better. Finally I bought a 2003 terminator. I thought that car would be the pinnacle of all the Stangs. It couldn’t possibly get any better than that car. Then I bought a 2008 Shelby GT500. Holy Cow this is the most amazing car. It has out all. Performance, handling, comfort, reliability and the wow factor. You can jump in the car and ride for a couple of hours and not be crippled when you get to your destination. And who doesn’t love the whine of a super charger. Hold on tight if you nail it, the car will break the tires loose at 40 mph in second gear. Drive it normally and it drives as a normal car would. This is by far the best all around Stanhope of any that I have owned.
