Performance- for its age acceleration is brisk the 4.0l holds it own, braking is good its an suv not a sports car, handling is a bit on the oversteer side but I like it. Build Quality- when it was built its a great vehicle the first uni-body suv, but it would've been better if it was a full frame chassis. The only common problems is the rear main seal, valve cover gasket and exhaust manifold but since I repaired them I haven't had any problems. Its a 90's suv with solid axles so it rides like a truck not a new car. Appearance- Exterior to me it great yeah it boxy but its a jeep the only thing I wish they had sunroofs back then. Interior is pretty spacious I can carry all my tools and anything and everything I need. Cost of Ownership- Gas mileage by today's standards it sucks at 15mpg city/ ~20mpg highway. Maintenance is pretty standard: oil changes(~$20), seasonal fluid(~$50) changes and tune-ups(~$35) besides the rear main seals(~$15) leaking(you probably have to change once a year cause its a 2 piece design once you do 1 the rest are cake). Fun Factor- it has go anywhere capabilities with good road manners I enjoy being prepared for anything.

I love this Jeep. Its a 1993 with a 2.5" lift and 31s. I bought her in October 07 with 112,000 miles. The only downside is the bad gas mileage it gets with the larger tires. This Jeep is a beast on and offroad.

Good go-everywhere rig. A little rough around the edges, but working on it. Easiest and most fun vehicle I've ever worked on. Also, Jeeps have a very fun attraction; once you drive one you'll know the meaning behind the slogan "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand".
