Why do all of my windows on my 2005 ES330 open when the car is in my garage?

Asked by blarman Feb 18, 2015 at 02:36 PM about the 2005 Lexus ES 330 FWD

Question type: General

My car was in my closed garage overnight and I had left all windows closed. When I
opened the garage this morning, I found all of the windows fully opened. The temperature
in the garage was about 25 F if that has anything to do with it. What could possibly cause
this to happen??

All lexus models after 2005 have a feature if you hold the unlock button on your key for 5 seconds all passenger windows will open until u release ur finger from holding unlock button. If u let go of the unlock button after windows are half way down they automatically lower all the way down. 99% chance u accidentally held the unlock button long enough to initiate the feature, while u were in the house. Signal on those keys really accurate and strong
