Driving on unpaved roads

Asked by Mark Dec 29, 2019 at 03:26 PM about the 2001 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: General

Hi
Can a 2001 Lexus ES 300 be driven on unpaved roads,
like a dirt or gravel forest road without "killing" it?
Most of the driving would be on highway or city roads but
occasionally on maintained  National Forest roads.
Thank you,
Mark

Not the best choice but you could drive it on smooth dirt roads. Obviously it does not have much ground clearance.

Plus keep your speed down. I have relatives in upstate NY who live in the country. When driving on those dirt roads I usually don't go over 20 MPH, tops. Hope that helps! Jim
