Check engine light flashing

Question type: General

I have a 1999 lexus es300 the check engine light is
flashing, bad smell, and running rough. Any ideas
what it could be? How costly? Also is it safe to
drive while flashing? I drove it home but not sure if I
should continue.

Usually a flashing check engine light means something a little more serious than a steady one. You should get the computer scanned as soon as possible.

Yeah driving with check engine light flashing means u need another car.
