VIN Number not being accepted when listing a car on CarGurus

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

CarGurus is not accepting my VIN number as it is a short VIN for the 1976
BMW.   What is my options??  Thanks..  Kevin

Cargurus got back to me regarding the shorter VIN number. They told me that their software does not support different VIN numbers other the the standard 17 number. I explained that Dealers are listing them..... They did not have a response for that. In other words, Dealers are treated much much better that private sellers. They want more dealers on this site.
