JUST GOT THIS CAR. RUNS & DRIVES FINE BUT WON,T COME OUT OF FOURTH GEAR. ITS A TIPTRONIC TRANSMISSION. COULD IT BE A MODULE THAT CONTROLS THE SHIFTING?

Runs and drives fine, but stuck in 4th, that doesn't make much sense. Check the tranny fluid level first, hot idling in park with engine running. If OK, a trip to a transmission shop is warranted. The tiptronic transmission is very robust, so a fluid level check is very important. Good luck!

When was the last time the transmission was serviced? Ive seen these where they where not serviced and required a complete replacement. Im guessing but if its stuck in fourth it could be in limp mode and might be worth scanning for fault codes. Let us know what you find.
